Trailblazers (2023)
Home to a nationally significant collection of memorabilia, the ‘Trailblazers’ exhibition tells the story of the origins of Australasian Country Music, with a focus on the innovators of the travelling shows. Highlighting the importance of country music in Australia, and the large role it has played in establishing our National Identity and Legacy.
Allowing visitors to better understand the foundations that the Country Music Industry is built on, ‘Trailblazers’ showcases the pioneers of the travelling country music shows. Which, with the help of promotional materials, saw the start of Country Music in Australia from the 1930s, as well as the fashion, costumes, and instruments implemented over the years.
Displays in the Australian Country Music Hall of Fame are rotated and updated regularly to showcase the museum’s comprehensive collection which you can explore further online here.
