|ROLL OF RENOWN
The Country Music Roll of Renown was established by Radio 2TM in 1976 to recognise and salute those artists who have made a lasting and significant contribution to Australian country music.
The actual Roll of Renown, special plaques mounted on granite rocks, is located on the lawn in front of the TRECC (Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre), having been moved from their original location in front of Radio 2TM, in 2000.
The artists elevated to the Roll of Renown forms the basis of exhibits at the Australian Country Music Hall of Fame, located at 561 Peel Street (the corner of Peel and Murray Streets) in Tamworth.
