McCormack Brothers

1967 – Jeff born.

1968 – Rod born.

They both learnt guitar at an early age with Rod now playing six and twelve string and classical guitar, banjo and mandolin, whilst Jeff plays bass, six and twelve string guitar and mandolin.

1978 – First appeared at the Tamworth Country Music Festival and had success in the CCMA talent quest taking out “Best Young Talent”, Open Songwriting” and the “Amoco Encouragement Award.

1978 – Released their debut album “Fine Lines” which featured 12 of their own compositions.

1996 – Golden Guitar for Instrumental of the Year with “Cut to the chase. Rod was joined by Mick Albeck.

1996 – Rod released “The Circle Game” on ABC.

2003 – Rod- CMAA Australian Country Music Achiever Awards – Producer of the Year.

2006 – Jeff - CMAA Australian Country Music Achiever Awards – Engineer of the Year.
