Craig Giles

Born on the 8th of January in Temora NSW.

1987 - Won the prestigious Search For A Star Quest in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

1988 - Released an E.P. record titled ‘Country Music Man’. Toured with the Ray Kernaghan Show. Released first album titled ‘Sings For You’.

1989 - Released second album titled ‘Something For Everyone’.

1991 - Released third album titled ‘This One’s For You’.

1993 - Released fourth album titled ‘Ambush’. Voted Most Popular Australian Recording Artist on 7LTN, Tasmania.

1994 - Voted Most Popular Act on national television series, ‘It’s Country Today’.

1995 - South Australian Country Music Festival Awards- Inducted into the Hall of Fame. Released fifth album titled ‘Captured’.

1996 - Inducted into the Country Music Stars Of Fame at Wallsend, Newcastle. Released sixth album titled ‘A Matter Of Time’. Received the Asthma Achiever Award for recognition in the music industry.

1997 - Released an hour length video titled ‘Up Till Now’. Won the Independent artist Most Popular Artist On Tour award.

1998 - Inducted into the Australian Country Music Hands Of Fame in Tamworth.
Inducted into the NEW ZEALAND INTERNATIONAL COUNTRY MUSIC HANDS OF FAME. Won the Most Popular Independent Male Artist award. Released seventh album ‘Ghost On The Highway’. A tribute to Craig in the form of a large plaque containing his image and bearing the inscription ‘Finley The Home Of Craig Giles’ was mounted in the centre of Finley, NSW. This is an honour that is not bestowed on many entertainers.

2000 - People’s Choice Awards – Best Male Vocal. Released eighth album "Try A Little Kindness" (Gospel album). Won Most Popular Artist On Tour in the Independent C.M. Awards. Launched the official Craig Giles Web Site

2002 - Released ninth album "No Matter What". Won Album Of The Year with "No Matter What" in the Tasmanian & New Zealand Songwriters Awards.

2003 - Won Vocal Collaboration for the song "No Matter What" in the Tiara Awards. Released tenth album "Your Requests"

2005 – Won Open Contemp. Section of the Tas. & Nz Songwriters Contest and also secured second in the same section. Won "Australian Touring Artist" in the National Australian Country Recording Awards (ACRA). Release 11th album "Kick It".

2006 - Won "Australian Artist On Tour" section in the National Australian Country Recording Awards.

2007 - Won "Australian Artist On Tour" section in the National Australian Country Recording Awards.

2008 - Won Silver Medallion for "Touring Artist" in the Gold Medallion Awards. Won the "Reg Lindsay Male Entertainer section at the A.C.A. Awards. Won The COUNTRY ARTIST ON TOUR section of the A.C.A Awards

2009 - Craig and his band were the support act for International Super Star, Glen Campbell. Won the Country Artist On Tour section of the A.C.A Awards

2010 - Craig was the Celebrity Host for The Music Tour Of America's Deep South. Inducted onto the Wall Of Fame at LBS Studios in Tamworth, NSW

2011 - Craig again was the Celebrity Host for The Music Tour Of America's Deep South.
