Donna Fisk

1960 - Born on the 28th of January.

Donna Fisk is an Award Winning Singer, Songwriter-Recording Artist and Producer with several number one and chart topping hit recordings, and a Royal Command performer,

Featuring in Andrea Lemon’s book “Rodeo Girls go Round the Outside”, exploring modern day female trailblazers for Australian Country Music.

Donna has toured her own show as well as performing and recording overseas incorporating appearances on local and American television.

The voice on many national advertising campaigns including, “The Australian Centenary Of Federation”, and the face of Australian Football League/ Channel 7 theme’ Rock N’Footy,‘ that ultimately led to performing at the Melbourne Cricket Ground for the prestigious Grand final to an audience of millions.

Signed to publishing companies Boosey and Hawkes and Warner Chappell and recording on major and independent labels RCA, Festival/Mushroom, EMI, WEA, Rouseabout, Canon, Colstall and her own independent label Honk!

During her career Donna has shared the stage with the acclaimed artists such as Muhammad Ali, John Denver, Donny Osmond, Dame Edna Everage, Tom .T. Hall, Canned Heat, Brian Cadd, Susan Raye, James Morrison, Tommy Emmanuel, Dave Dudley, Blood Sweat and Tears, Frank Ifield and The Seekers to mention just a few.

Donna is also part of the highly successful duo Fisk and Cristian, who together have released 3 highly acclaimed original albums that have included singles topping the charts nationally 

1989 – Inducted into the Hands of Fame

1998 – Donna Fisk and Michael Christian achieved a top 10 radio hit with their song 'Lara' and rocketed into the ARIA charts with their AFL anthem 'Rock 'N Footy ' which they ultimately performed to a sell-out crowd of 100,000 people on the hallowed ground of the Melbourne Cricket Ground (plus 100 million people who witnessed the 1998 AFL Grand Final International satellite broadcast).

1999 – Signed with Festival Records.

2001 - Fisk and Christian - APRA/AMCOS Australian Independent Country Music Single of the Year with “Fear of Falling”. Donna and Michael asked by the Australian Government to perform the song “Building on a Strong Foundation” as the anthem for the Centenary Of Federation.

2002 – Winners of Album of the Year with “Joyride”, Female Vocalist of the Year (Donna) and Duo of the Year at the Victorian Country Music Awards.

2003 – Winners of the TIARA (Tamworth Independent Artist Recognition Award) for Group/Duo of the Year with “The Recipe”.

2004 – Fisk and Christian - APRA/AMCOS Australian Independent Country Music Single of the Year with “Under the Influence” and One Stop Entertainment Australian Independent Album of the Year with “The Big Picture”. Australian Independent Artist of the Year. Released the album “Under the Influence of Love”.

2009 - South Australian Country Music Festival Awards- Inducted into the Hall of Fame, with Michael Christian.

2014 - Released a single and video in November, and "Still in Love with You" reached No. 2 on the Cm& T United Kingdom video charts.

2016 - Has a recording contract in Nashville and will be working on a new album.
