 Norm DRAGE (1987)

Norm Drage

1941 –Born on April 18th in Albury.

1968 – Formed a successful country group in Albury called “Northside Trio”.

1971 – Moved to Brisbane and became active in several country music clubs.

1974 – President of the Southern Suburbs Country Music Club. Joined the group “Images”.

1975 – 78 – Federal secretary of the Australian County Music Association.

1980 – “Images” won the best country group section in the “Wallace (Queensland Variety) Awards”.

1982 – Norm was awarded the “Bobby Brooker” memorial trophy in the Queensland country music awards for his service to the country music industry in Queensland..

1983 – Awarded life membership to the Northern Suburbs Country Music Club.

1987 – Inducted into the Hands of Fame.

He also managed “Dr Age” which was formerly called “Drage Boys”.
