Anne CONWAY (1997)

Anne Conway

Anne’s album “I Am Australian” contains fourteen tracks – eleven of them Australian penned. Anne chose the material for this album based purely on the material she wanted to sing and the stories she wished to convey.

Since 1991 Anne presented her own ten day showcase in Grace Bros Store in Tamworth where she showcases some of the best entertainers around as well performing herself. The 2003 Showcase was perhaps the best ever which was gratifying since it was also the last as Grace Bros closed it’s doors in Tamworth in June 2003.

Anne’s repertoire is not restricted to country music, she plays a good cross section of popular music and can work with a resident band or is fully self contained with her custom made backing, guitar and sound system.

These days due to a combination of a busy lifestyle and sometimes fragile health, Anne does not maintain a heavy performing schedule. In spite of this she does perform professionally quite often and is particularly committed to performing at events such as Relay For Life and other such causes where she has the opportunity to help others as she herself has been helped in the past.
