Evelyn Bury

1946 – Born on the 17th of September in Surry Hills, Victoria.

1993 – Won the Tamworth Songwriters’ Association New Songwriter award.

1995 – Formed the all-female band called “Buried Treasure” in Bundaberg.

1996 – Released her second album for Selection Records “Australian Country from Tex Morton to Lee Kernaghan.

1988 – Golden Guitar for Female Vocalist of the Year with “I’m Stronger Than I Look”.

1989 - South Australian Country Music Festival Awards- Inducted into the Hall of Fame.

1991- Inducted into the Hands of Fame
