Garry ADAMS  (1997)

Born in Paddington in Sydney.

Garry began playing music in rock “n” roll bands whilst still in high school.

At 19 he joined a band called ‘HOUSE OF Bricks” which also contained Daryl Braithwaite.

Garry met Clelia in 1970 and were married in 1974 and moved to Tamworth. It was here they developed and expanded on their love for gospel and bluegrass music.

1977 – Garry formed the popular country rock combo “The New England Rangers”. He worked on 2TM’s live radio show “Country Muster”.

1982 – Involved with Tamworth’s Channel 9 television series “Must Be Country” hosted by Terry Gordon.

1983 –Garry and Clelia released a gospel recording “Angel Band”.

1997 – Garry was inducted into the Hands Of Fame. He has been part of backing bands for the Golden Guitar Awards and Star Maker, as well as judge for Star Maker.
